Following India’s historic win in Cape Town, Sachin Tendulkar praised Jasprit Bumrah’s performance.
The legendary batter of Indian cricket team Sachin Tendulkar has heaped praise on pacer Jasprit Bumrah following India’s seven-wicket win over South Africa at the Newlands Cricket Stadium in Cape Town to level the two-match Test series 1-1.
India chased down the target of 79 runs on Day 2 to win the match by seven wickets and register their first-ever Test win in Cape Town. The match saw India bowl South Africa out for 55 runs and 176 runs while being dismissed for 153 runs in their first inning.
Tendulkar said on the social networking site "X" that Bumrah demonstrated how to bowl on such surfaces after India's victory. "Congratulations to Team India for leveling the series!" Tendulkar contributed to "X." On a surface like this, assault may often be the greatest form of defense, which is why Markram's strategy was excellent.
